How it works

PunkFinder answers one question: for a given CryptoPunk, who holds it and is anyone home? It reports the V1 and V2 tokens separately — they share the same numbers but have fully independent ownership, and are often held by different people.

Everything shown comes from public chain data. Ownership, custody (wrapped / vaulted / stashed), and wallet activity are read live from the punks indexer. "Signs of life" is whole-wallet: any signed transaction from the holding wallet counts, not just punk moves.

This is an early build. Right now it shows live ownership, custody, and a first-pass activity read. Coming next: curated labels for known wallets, self-published identity (ENS and OpenSea), market listings, and honest per-token status verdicts.

PunkFinder never shows emails or physical contact info, and never guesses who an anonymous wallet "really" is — only identity a person has published themselves.
